7-8 June 1814
The journal of convention of the Diocese of Pennsylvania for the first time includes 3 western parishes in the list of parishes by location (Georgetown in Beaver County, Pittsburgh in Allegheny County, and Brownsville in Fayette County). The list was the result of a special committee created to determine the actual state of the diocese. The diocese then creates a formal process to admit parishes to union with the convention in the future.
