St. Paul's, Mt. Lebanon, is offering to make room on its upcoming Mission Trip for youth from other parishes.
The mission trip, June 13th – 19th, will be relatively nearby and based on familiar turf. Missioners will be working in Erie and will be staying at Calvary Camp.
"We would love to have our kids interact with kids from other parishes," said St. Paul's rector, the Rev. Lou Hays, in announcing the offer at Diocesan Council on May 3.
Although participants are usually asked to cover the costs of their food, lodging, and transportation, financial assistance is also offered. "Regardless of the cost, we'll make sure anyone who wants to go, can," Lou+ said.
