Praying For Communion: Julian of Norwich

Be a Gardener.
Dig a ditch. Toil and sweat.
And turn the earth upside down.
And seek the deepness.
And water plants in time.
Continue this labor.
And make sweet floods to run,
and noble and abundant fruits to spring.
Take this food and drink,
and carry it to God as your true worship.
–Julian of Norwich

In 2010, a new addition to this unfolding journey is Praying with Anglican Contemplatives, & Other Saints & Sinners, offering a brief introduction of a different historical person each month as we proceed with the parish to parish pilgrimage of trust.

On Saturday, August 28, at 2:00 p.m., The Church of the Holy Cross in Homewood will host Rebecca Cole Turner discussing Julian of Norwich (1342 – c. 1416).

All are welcome. See https://www.episcopalpgh.org/resources/praying-for-communion/ for details.
