Youth from around the diocese will be gathering in North Park on August 22nd for a day of games, hiking, lunch and liturgy. All junior and senior high school-age kids are invited. Lunch and t-shirts will be provided to all youth and registered adult chaperones.
Here’s the schedule:
♦ 10:00 a.m. Meet at Wildwood Pavilion for a welcome and games
♦ 11:00 a.m. Hike with Bishop Johnson through the park
♦ 12:00 noon Cookout for all
♦ 1:00 p.m. Holy Eucharist
If interested, please arrange participation through the youth coordinator at your parish. Letters and registration forms are being mailed to the parishes this week. Youth in parishes without formal youth programs are also welcome to attend this inaugural event for the Diocesan Youth Initiative. Contact the Rev.
