Memorial Day Holy Eucharist at National Cemetery

This year a new Memorial Day service is planned at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies in Bridgeville.

The Rev. Richard A. Pollard from All Saints Episcopal Fellowship in Bridgeville, will lead a Christian memorial service on Monday, May 31st, at 10:00 a.m.

All are welcome to gather at Committal Shelter #2 to reflect and honor those who have protected our country's freedoms as well as freedom throughout the world.

Scripture readings, presentation of the Holy Eucharist and memorial reflections of our military will be included. Sacrifices made by veterans over the past 250 years will be the focus of comments by veteran Army helicopter pilot and Purple Heart recipient Michael Kirkpatrick and Army veteran Peter Balfe.
