“Clergy Day In Advent” Announced

To the Clergy of the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh in the Episcopal Church:

Our new diocesan designated "pastoral care" guy, Scott Quinn, and the reorganizing board of the Episcopal Clergy Association, are co-sponsoring a Clergy Day in Advent for collegial fellowship, mutual support, and spiritual reflection.

For canonically and physically resident clergy, for canonically but not physically resident clergy, for physically but not canonically resident clergy: the whole bunch.

The date for the Clergy Day is Tuesday, December 2, 2008.  Hours: 9 a.m. gather, program at 9:30 a.m. Ending around 2:30 p.m. Lunch included (by donation).

Location: Calvary Church, 315 Shady Avenue, East Liberty.

Leader: The Rt. Rev. David Colin Jones, Bishop Suffragan of the Diocese of Virginia of the Episcopal Church and Consulting Bishop for the Standing Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh of the Episcopal Church.

RSVP’s Required! (Because of the Lunch.) Please e-mail Leslie Reimer at lreimer@calvarypgh.org or telephone the Calvary Church receptionist at (412) 661-0120.

This of course will be just a little more than a week before our reorganizing Special Convention, and for all kinds of reasons it would be great to have a great turn-out. Looking forward to seeing you there.
