Established by the Auxiliary of St. Margaret Foundation in May, the new St. Margaret Chapel Fund will provide financial support to the Chapel at UPMC St. Margaret, located near Aspinwall. Monies from the Chapel Fund will provide ongoing maintenance of the Chapel and the organ; expenses associated with non-denominational worship services held monthly in the Chapel – such as the annual Chaplain honorarium and payment to the organists; as well as for the purchase of candles, seasonal altar flowers, prayer books, hymnals, track rack publications, and other items as needed.
Funding of the St. Margaret Chapel Fund will be maintained through Auxiliary fundraising activities and through private donations, including monies deposited in the Chapel's donation box.
