Calling all Women of the Church, including Altar Guilds, Episcopal Church Women, Bible Study groups, and any and all Women in the Episcopal Church:
It is time for our fall United Thank Offering. We are gathering at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Oakmont on Saturday, November 19.
Bishop Kenneth Price will preach and Celebrate with the Rev. Jeff Murph at our worship service. During this service we will be able to read again perpetual memorials and new memorials.
During our business meeting we will hear from the leaders from Wilkinsburg's Neighborhood Youth Outreach Program — Executive Director Eric MacIntosh and Program Director Tony Jackson. They will talk to us and we have a small token from National ECW to present to them.
We will approve the budget for 2012, approve the finance committee report and hear news from the Chair of UTO Betsy Ann Hetzler. Betsy represented us at a Face to Face workshop and has valuable lessons to share.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. The meeting begins at 10 a.m. followed by a short break.
The worship service will begin at 11:30 p.m. immediately followed by a luncheon.
