The Rev. Dan Isadore

The Rev. Dan Isadore was ordained to the priesthood in 2016. Shortly after his ordination, Dan was called to serve as the Episcopal University Chaplain for the Diocese of Pittsburgh.

As University Chaplain, Dan hosts a weekly Bible study in Oakland, and seeks to work cooperatively with other campus ministries in the neighborhood. He frequently meets with students, staff, and faculty to share coffee or a meal. He aims to help all people behold the beauty of God together.

Dan also serves as Associate Rector at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Oakmont, PA. He lives with his wife and daughter in the North Hills, where they host a number of dinners each month, along with a monthly gathering for young adults.


 

Responsibilities…

  • Conducts Bible studies for undergraduate and graduate students, both in person and online.
  • Provides one-on-one pastoral care to university students and young adults in the Pittsburgh area.
  • Leads a monthly home Eucharist (called “Zoe,” the Greek word for “Life”) for students and young adults.
  • Continuously pursues further opportunities to share the Gospel with university students and others in an effective, relatable manner.
