St. Stephen’s “Hungry for Habitat”

St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Wilkinsburg, joins other parishes this week in adding money to the muscle that's helping Habitat for Humanity.

St. Stephen's will hold a "Hungry for Habitat" spaghetti dinner on Friday, June 4, from 5:00 – 7:30 p.m. at the church, 600 Pitt Street. A donation of $7 for adults or $15 for families is requested to benefit the diocesan Habitat project. Members of the Wilkinsburg police and fire departments may eat for free.

About half of the parishes in the diocese are working with Habitat to renovate a Habitat house at 202 10th Street in Sharpsburg. Construction is planned to continue on most Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays through June. Volunteers are welcome, but must pre-register through their parish coordinator.
