We gather together as a community of faith, understanding that the seed of God is in each us. With fertile soil, sustenance and nurture, we will thrive and grow up to God. This day is designed to spiritually feed those who are called to the ministry of education with children, youth or adults in our congregations. It is a day to be ministered to so you can minister to others.

1:00 p.m. Tending the Garden: Choosing Resources for All Ages
3:30 p.m. Commissioning & Sending Forth

 
Bring an idea or resource that you’d like to share with others. Receive plenty of handouts and ready-to-use information for your Christian education and formation ministries as well as new learnings, connections and resources to build upon in the future.

Sponsored by the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh, this event is open to all, free of charge.

In order to provide enough materials and food for all, pre‐registration is required.


Led by Sharon Ely Pearson, Church Publishing’s Christian Formation Specialist.

Previously, for ten years she served as Children’s Ministries and Christian Education Coordinator for the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut.

With over 30 years experience in Christian formation at the parish, diocesan, provincial, and church wide level, she is recognized for her knowledge of curriculum for children, youth and adults as well as her passion for holistic life long learning.
