Calling All to Serve

There are many examples of the call to serve others throughout the New Testament.  In Ephesians 2:10, Paul writes “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”  Or as in 1 Peter 4:10,  “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” (NIV)  There is no doubt, as Christians, we are called to serve.

The Diocese of Pittsburgh needs the prayerful wisdom and service of a great variety of people, both lay and ordained, to further the mission of the Episcopal Church here in Southwestern Pennsylvania.  Would you please consider serving on a Diocesan Board, Committee, or Commission to make a positive impact on the work God has given us to do together?
