Welcome to the Resource Center
The Resource Center serves the people and parishes of the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh.
The Resource Center uses the combined buying power of membership fees, grant money and donations to purchase videotapes to aid its members in their Christian ministry and personal growth.
Our goal is to serve our members in a friendly, helpful, timely and cost-effective manner.
We are committed to becoming the FIRST CALL that a parish priest, Christian Education leader, vestry member or lay person makes when faced with a need for:
* A program for a small group fellowship or activity.
* A way to keep youth interested in coming to Sunday School or a youth meeting.
* A treat for parish seniors who are homebound.
* Something for the kids to do while adults are meeting.
* A way to give Sunday School teachers a well-deserved break?
* A new interest-building topic for adult Christian Education.
* Something better to watch on TV than network or cable offerings.
We are committed to having every parish in the diocese, as well as many interested churches and organizations from outside the diocese, become members.
We want our members to feel that their annual membership fee is money well spent – both for the value received and for the fact that such a cooperative effort as The Resource Center needs the complete support of all members to flourish.
