Spirituality and Recovery Workshop

The Iona Project presents a free educational workshop entitled "Spirituality and Recovery."
 
Friday, March 22, from 6 to 8 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church, 11524 Frankstown Road in Penn Hills.
 
The workshop on "Spirituality and Recovery" will discuss issues related to personal and spiritual growth and development in relationship to "recovery." A broad based approach will be utilized and the workshop is intended for all individuals and groups who share a personal and/ or collective interest in the topic. Individuals who are in recovery and those working with others would benefit from this workshop. Specific areas of focus include:
  • What is Spirituality?
  • What does the recovery process entail?
  • What are the obstacles or roadblocks to personal and spiritual growth?
  • How can I/we be of assistance to someone who reaches out for help and direction?

Individuals who attend this workshop will add to their conceptual and experiential knowledge of spirituality and recovery and be able to better support others and self in this lifelong process.
