\n\tBishop Potter informs the standing committee that his health requires he take an immediate leave from his duties.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n

\n\tA circular letter written by Bishop Potter is read to the convention.  He asks for the election of an Assistant Bishop rather than a division of the diocese because he is not sure his health would allow him to properly serve the remaining diocese after division.<\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
