\n\tJohn Taylor is ordained Deacon by Bishop White,<\/span><\/span>. He<\/span><\/span> moves to Kings Creek area in Washington (Beaver) County in 1797 and to Pittsburgh in 1800. The Whiskey Rebellion comes to a head with federal troops sent to southwest Pennsylvania. Because a prominent Episcopalian served as the federal tax official, the Rebellion disrupts early ministries.  \"\"<\/a><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n
