St. David’s Episcopal Church, Peters Twp., is inviting former parishioners from its 63-year history to help celebrate its first year of renewal as a vibrant Episcopal congregation.
The parish’s founding and longtime rector, the Rev. Gibb Watt, will be a featured speaker at the anniversary Eucharist at 10 a.m. on May 19. A cookout and blessing of a newly-planted community garden will follow.
During the past year of rebuilding, St. David’s has witnessed tremendous growth, especially among young families.
