The Ordination and Consecration
of the Rev. Dorsey W. M. McConnell
as the 8th Bishop of Pittsburgh
at Calvary Episcopal Church
on Saturday, October 20, at 11:00 a.m.
Attendance at the Consecration
Calvary is the largest church in the diocese but even their majestic facility has a limit to its seating capacity. Tickets are being allocated to each parish. The number of tickets issued to each will be based on parish size from the most recent parochial reports. The larger the congregation, the more tickets available.
If you received an invitation by mail or email and have RSVP’d, or if you are a part of the procession (including acolytes, choir members, banner bearers and youth participants), or if you are a volunteer (for example, usher/greeter) then you do not need a ticket. There will be seating reserved for you as you will be an active participant in the service.
