Although construction is not currently scheduled for the Parkway East (376 E) this coming Saturday, convention participants planning on using this route to Monroeville will want to call PennDOT’s construction hotline on Friday to confirm this, as advisories are sometimes issued with little advance notice. The hotline can be reached at 412-429-6035. Route 28 N to Harmarville (Exit 11), to the PA Turnpike (East) to Monroeville can be a convenient way to bypass the Parkway East entirely.
Parking information-
Only convention deputies are eligible for parking on St. Martin’s grounds. Guests are to turn right at the PA-48/Old William Penn intersection, and turn left into the parking area of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, where a shuttle will be available.
Directions via 376 E (Parkway East)-
Take 376 E (outbound/eastbound) to Exit 14B (toward Plum). Merge on Haymaker Road (PA-48) and turn left at light onto Old William Penn Highway (0.3 mi). Turn left onto St. Martin’s Drive after 0.4 miles.
Directions via PA Turnpike (I-76)-
Take Exit 57 off of the PA Turnpike (I-76), toward Pittsburgh/Monroeville, staying toward the left side of the toll plaza. Bear left after paying toll, and merge right onto Rt. 22 (toward Monroeville/Miracle Mile Shopping Center). Stay in right lane, and turn right at light onto Haymaker Road (PA-48). After 0.4 miles, turn left at light onto Old William Penn Highway. After another 0.4 miles, turn left onto St. Martin’s Drive.
