Members of the diocese are invited to participate in a Young Children and Worship Workshop which will be on Saturday, November 13th, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Pleasant Hills Presbyterian Church.
Sharon Stewart, who is a certified trainer in Young Children and Worship and works for the Pittsburgh Presbytery will be demonstrating this Montessori-style approach which integrates religious education and worship. It can be used with children from age 3 through third grade and is quite similar to Godly Play and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd.
Any Sunday school teachers or directors along with other interested church people from our Diocese are invited.
