The Resolutions Committee of Diocesan Council is now accepting items to be considered by the next regular convention of the diocese.
Proposed resolutions may be submitted by any parish or individual. Each must conform to Robert’s Rules of Order, include a short rationale of the context and reason for the resolution, and contain the name and contact information of at least two sponsors.
Submissions, or questions about the procedure, should be addressed to committee chairman John Roberts at firstname.lastname@example.org . All resolutions are due by September 1 in order to be reviewed by Diocesan Council at its September 10 meeting.
The convention will take place November 9 and 10, 2012, at Trinity Cathedral.
