St. Thomas Memorial Episcopal Church to Host “Be In Health” Conference

On Friday, April 9 and Saturday, April 10, St. Thomas Memorial Episcopal Church, Oakmont, PA, will host a health and healing conference led by the dynamic husband and wife ministry team, Rick and Mary Pat Jones, from Be In Health Global.

Be In Health, based out of Thomaston, Georgia, is an international Christian ministry, teaching the Biblical principles that bring healing of relationships and health. They offer teaching to unravel the mysteries of disease and reveal pathways to health and wholeness based on spiritual insight and understanding.

Be In Health was founded by Henry Wright, author of the best selling Christian book, A More Excellent Way, Be In Health. In his early days as a congregational minister, Rev. Wright was discouraged by the healing ministry in his church. He questioned why only 5% of his members were being healed in the way the scriptures say is possible. Furthermore, he found this was the norm across churches nationwide. And yet, the Bible says today’s Christians should do greater works than Jesus. He lifted these questions to the Lord and the Lord was faithful in providing answers. Rick and Mary Pat Jones will share these insights.

The conference sessions are:

    ♦ Why do we get sick?;

   ♦ Fear, Stress and Physiology;

   ♦ Bitterness, the number one block to healing.
       This session includes teaching and group deliverance ministry;

   ♦ The 8 R’s to Freedom;

   ♦ Biblical Insights into Food and Related Issues

Mary Pat Jones has a B.S. degree in Nutrition/Dietetics and a Master of Science degree in Nutrition Science from Virginia Tech. She is also a Registered Dietitian and has consulted in a wide variety of medical and community settings. She graduated from New Hope School of Ministries in Naples, FL, and has nine years of ministry experience.

In Mary Pat’s testimony, she shares, “Although I am a Registered Dietitian, I also had severe eating disorders for 25 years, and went from anorexia at 89 lbs. to bulimia, to eating low fat, no sugar, no wheat, portions weighed and measured, and on and on. Today I eat anything I feel like eating and I don’t worry about my weight. I love and trust God and I love me.” Mary Pat will share the principal spiritual issues surrounding eating disorders, how she was set free, and what the Bible has to say about food.

The conference will be held on Friday, April 9, from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. and on Saturday, April 10 from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM and 1:30-5:00 P.M. St. Thomas Memorial Episcopal Church is located at 378 Delaware Avenue, Oakmont, PA 15139.

Attendance at the full conference is strongly recommended since teachings build upon each other.  This is definitely necessary for those who have not previously attended a Be In Health conference.

There are no registration fees. However, a free will offering will be accepted. St. Thomas Church is handicapped accessible.
