Christ Church, Allegheny City and Trinity Church, Rockville in Crawford County are admitted to union with the diocese. The Rockville (now Conneautville) church was in an area showing growth due a developing canal system linking the western part of the state north to south.

11-23 November 1832

On a tour of western parishes, Bishop Onderdonk consecrates newly completed buildings:  St. Paul's, Erie (11th); St. Peter's, Waterford (15th); St. Peter's, Butler (21st); St. Paul's, Kittanning (23rd). In addition to consecrating the church in Butler, the bishop ordains deacon, Bennett Glover as a priest at the same service.   Glover will serve at Butler until his death in 1838.

22 December 1832

Bishop Onderdonk ordains in Philadelphia Thomas Crumpton as a deacon.  Crumpton is assigned to St. John's, Lawrenceville in Allegheny County.  Crumpton will serve in western PA until his death in 1893.
