A Rector, On Stage, in a Familiar Role

The Rector of Christ Church, Indiana, the Rev. William Geiger, has been cast in The Indiana Players’ production of Louisa May Alcott’s "Little Women." He plays three roles, one as a priest.

Father Geiger was wearing his collar when he stopped by the theater, where his daughter, Bethany, was adapting the novel for the Players’ stage. (She also plays one of the sisters.) "They looked at me and said, ‘Ah, there’s our priest!’" he explains. "After a lot of arm twisting, I finally said ‘I’ll do it.’"

Performances are December 4, 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, 2:30 p.m. on Sundays. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors/students. For ticket information or reservations call (724) 464-0725.
