A Call for Community – Can You Lend a Hand?

The parish of St. Christopher in Cranberry Township is re-building and re-organizing. We seek help from the Episcopal Community within the Diocese of Pittsburgh. First and foremost, we ask your prayers as we begin a new phase of ministry. We hope to begin worshiping soon, and invite you to join us to help strengthen our community.

On December 11th at 4:00 PM we will be holding an organizational meeting at St. Christopher's, 925 Sheraton Drive, Mars (Warrendale), PA 16046. The Church is next to the “Four Points” Sheraton Inn which is one of Cranberry’s tallest buildings near Bob Evan’s Restaurant off or Route 19.

The purpose of the meeting is prayerful discernment and identification of those who feel called to help us reinvigorate as short term in the spirit of St. Paul as missionaries or in the Spirit of St. Barnabas as encouragers. The missionaries would be expected to be involved with the worshipping community while the encouragers would come along side to lend a helping hand as needed. There is a specific need for those who may be able to serve in a Vestry position for a short-time (6 months to a year) until appropriate replacements can be identified from the growing congregation.

If you can help in any of a thousand ways please call the parish administrator, the Rev. Deacon Tim Hushion, at St. Christopher's 724-473-3195.

The rebuilding with God’s grace continues…
