RSVP Now for Episcopal Day at PNC Park

All members of the diocese are invited to join our youth and the Calvary Camp family for a day at the ballpark on Sunday afternoon, September 19, when the Pittsburgh Pirates host the Arizona Diamondbacks.  Game time is 1:35 p.m.

The tickets are free!  The cost of admission is being provided as a gift to the diocese.

To take part, a RSVP is needed by Wednesday, September 8.  Youth and their families should contact their parish youth coordinator.  Those invited through Calvary Camp should reply accordingly.  All others should RSVP to the Rev. Kris Opat at kris@stpaulspgh.org or 412-531-7153 x35.  (Local coordinators should also notify Kris+ by September 8 of the number of tickets to hold for their parish).

Tickets will be distributed at the Roberto Clemente statue, outside the Center Field gate, beginning at 1:15 p.m. prior to the game.  Seating is in Section 318, in the Grandstand section behind home plate.  Individuals or parish groups are responsible for their own transportation or car-pooling.

As happens at every Sunday home game, we expect the Pirates to invite all kids to run the bases on the field after the game.

Episcopal Day at PNC Park is sponsored by the diocesan Pittsburgh Youth Initiative and Sheldon Calvary Camp, and joined by the Diocesan Life Committee.

A group representing the Episcopal Diocese of Northwestern Pennsylvania will be guests of the diocese that day.
